Two Books
Two books with important relationships to my Business Organizations exam (to be taken later today) sit on my desk right now.
One, The Economic Structure of Corporate Law, by Easterbrook and Fischel, has been something like my bible throughout learning and studying for my exam. It is implausible in places, a little glib in others, but fundamentally a brilliant, brilliant book (and now filled with my underlining and incomprehensible marginal notations: I still can't figure out why I circled "The Williams Act" and wrote, in the margin, "Delib. Day!").
The other, Supreme Conflict, by Jan Crawford Greenburg, arrived today and has already received incredible compliments from Orin Kerr and Roy Englert, among others. I am not permitting myself to open it-- not even to peek-- until the exam is finished.
