Congratulations to George Anesi, my former editor at the Chicago Maroon, who has just graduated from the University of Chicago. He has some reflections here.

I have mentioned the implausibly wonderful Bloomington restaurant that is Tallent in this space before. There's little point in raving about it again; readers near Bloomington already know about it. Others probably will never have the pleasure.

But suffice it to say that I have discovered tonight at least two new wonderful things-- lamb bacon, and goat cheese ice cream. I commend them both, if you can find them.
