Poem of the night
In contact, lo! The flint and steel,
By spark and flame, the thought reveal,
That he the metal, she the stone,
had cherished secretly alone.

Hellos and Farewells
As midnight rolls in, closing out the last week of the last of some enjoyable college years, a few thoughts.
Farewell: to co-blogger Matt Reading (you will be missed!); and to guest-co-bloggers Amber Taylor, Jim Leitzel, Curmudgeonly Clerk, Anthony Rickey, Chris Jones, Toby Stern, JCA, Waddling Thunder, and Sara Butler, as they all head back to their homes; and to the lovely city of Chicago (my kind of town); and even more to my true alma mater, and to the fabulous professors that made it home.
Hello: to Sudeep Agarwala, who will be permanently joining Crescat after his spring-long stint here; to our nation's capital, to be my summer stomping ground; and the New Republic offices, which I will haunt for the next few months; and to Yale Law School, which come September will be my new . . . (home?).
